Smith-Cargo Track'n Go app for iPhone and iPad

An application for Smith Transportation Services Inc. that provides a simple way for the company to track their loads and stay informed about the shipping progress.

The application works as a tracking device and communication system between dispatchers and drivers. When a load is assigned to a driver, the phone will receive a notification that will include information about a shipment to be done, after this, the device will start to send its location using the GPS to make the dispatcher or manager knows about the drivers whereabouts.

The application allows the driver to handle signatures and take pictures in addition to be able to send and receive messages and inform about different events.

A load is assigned to a driver just when there is a previous agreement between the dispatcher and the respective driver(driver previously registered in the platform by a system administrator).

NOTE: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
